workshop one: kaiwharawhara stream

saturday 28th april  |  2pm - 5pm

Join this one of a kind, half-day workshop with internationally renowned environmental photographer Michael Hall at the Kaiwharawhara stream.  Receive one on one, specialised advice drawing on Hall's extensive artistic expertise.

The Kaiwharawhara stream is monitored by the council as a bellweather for environmental health of Wellington's regional waterways; it flows through vastly varying landscapes of nature reserves, urban suburbs, reaching the harbour under the motorway and railway tracks. Despite being a home for local fish species, it often suffers sewage contamination, storm water overflow and is close to to local landfill sites.

Shoot at this rich landscape and get advice and feedback on your practice as your work
